grant thorp was established in 1998 as an independent interior design consultancy for the workplace and our philosophy is simple: that our designs must work on a very practical level – be easy to maintain, beautiful to look at, provide value for money and take account of environmental issues.
As the client’s representative we are appointed to the design team, working alongside the Project Manager and other consultants, contractors and suppliers. The result is an informed client able to achieve the best value from the design specifications we produce.
We believe there is a strong link between the comfort and wellbeing of any workforce, and the effectiveness of the organisation. Our offices are designed for real people who arrive for work in a variety of moods: we ensure there are different spaces and modes of working to cater for all of them.
We are committed to using products and materials that that are supplied by companies demonstrating sustainable use of resources, the use of recyclable components and with responsible environmental policies in place.
High quality specification results in the long life of a scheme; our clean, simple solutions result in a pleasing and stimulating environment. Accent colours are used in areas that are easy to change so that a client can emphasise their corporate image and place in the market with a creatively designed office.
